About Red's Rovers
Red's Rovers was founded in 2014 by professional dog walkers, Maddie Copp & Justin Mattarocchia-Copp, and their goofy Hound/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, Redbones (Red for short!).
Maddie and Justin started Red’s Rovers with a simple goal in mind; to provide personalized, quality care for dogs. We recognize that no two dogs are the same; some dogs prefer long woodland hikes over leash walks, and some prefer playing a game of fetch over playing with other dogs. We take some time to work with each dog’s human-family to acknowledge and carefully determine the needs of each dog, to ensure that they are always their happiest selves, and getting the most they possibly can out of their time outside! We stand out from many other dog-walking companies in the area, not only because of our strong commitment to the well-being of the dogs in our pack, but also for our one-of-a-kind off-leash woodland "Adventure Hiking" program.
Maddie and Justin collectively have more than 17 years experience working as professional dog-walkers/playgroup supervisors, and both have a life-long love of working with animals. Maddie has co-taught training classes at River Dog in Somerville, MA, and has knowledge in basic positive-reinforcement training skills. She and Justin also have experience working with dogs with mild to moderate behavioral issues (excessive jumping for attention, anxiety, guarding, fear aggression, dog-aggression, leash reactivity, etc.)
